May I use the free delivery promotion?

During Special Delivery Promotions, the following conditions apply: Delivery is free only on orders paid with a personal credit card, not linked to an Institutions & Professionals Account (such as schools, in-school daycare centers, at-home daycare, etc.). Conditions for Northern Regions and Remote Centres, as defined by Canada Post, as well as oversized item surcharges are maintained.

Santa very much wants to put your holiday gifts under the tree! However, if your purchase is made after December 11, depending on your region, his Elves unfortunately cannot guarantee their delivery by December 24. 

Where can I get gift certificates?

Gift cards are available at the store (700 Beaumont Ave., Montreal) and can be purchased in the amount of your choice. 

I have questions about my order and want to make changes. Who must I contact?

Can I create a profile without shopping?

Yes. If you are a new user, you can create a profile by clicking on ''Creating your profile'' located at the top-right corner of your screen.

Note: Logging in takes a few minutes but will save you a lot of time during subsequent visits since you will no longer be required to enter some of your personal data.

If you’ve already created a profile, you must enter your email address and password in the appropriate field in the ''Login'' section.

Can I take home the merchandise I purchased right away?

All merchandise can be taken directly from our warehouse or from the store in which it was purchased. You must inform the store clerk beforehand or contact Customer Service by email à sales@bb.ca or by phone at 514 273-9186 or 1 800-668-1108.

How are delivery dates determined?

Once your order is confirmed, you will have to wait 4 to 8 working days. Please note that we cannot establish an exact delivery time because of unforeseen events that may arise.

What to do to get my Christmas presents on time?

Orders placed from December 23, 2015 to January 3, 2016 inclusive, will be delivered after January 4, 2016.

Who can visit the boutique?

Our boutique is open to the general public and is the one-stop shopping solution for teachers, educators, teaching specialists, parents, grandparents, and all those who take children’s education to heart.

How do I get to the boutique?

By public transport: The boutique is located just a few minutes walk from Acadie Metro Station (Blue line).

By car: The boutique is located on Beaumont Avenue between de l’Acadie Boulevard and du Parc Avenue, one block south of Jean-Talon Street. There is a large, free parking area in front of the boutique. For directions, see the attached map.

I operate a home day-care. May I make purchases at BB Education?

Absolutely. Simply call the Order Department at 514 273-9186 or 1-800-668-1108. Your order is payable by credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Please note that shipping charges apply to all orders under $100.00 (before taxes) and to items identified with a "truck" icon, which are mostly furniture and bulky items.

Why are certain comments marked "professional."?

Comments posted by professionals connected to their account bear the mention “professional.” We believe that this identification enhances exchanges and makes them more relevant both to professional users and the general public.

What do you do with my comments?

BB Education takes into account the comments, remarks, suggestions, ideas and any other information that you submit. You are free to comment on the products displayed on bb.ca. Your comments become the property of BB Education, which means that BB Eduation becomes the owner of all rights, titles, and interests related to your comments. BB Education reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to move a comment, to use a comment for advertising purposes, or to refuse to publish a comment. BB Education has the right, particularly and without restriction, to remove any user contribution that does not comply with applicable laws or is deemed otherwise inadmissible. The moderator has the right to edit the content of the user’s comment for reasons of grammar or spelling. In such case, every effort will be made to preserve the meaning of the comment.

May I have orders delivered outside of Canada?

How may I access your catalogues?

You can browse all our current catalogues on our Web site. We also mail paper versions to schools, daycares and education professionals. If you wish to receive a paper version of any of our current catalogues, please call our Order Department at 514-273-9186 or 1-800-668-1108, or send an email to service@bb.ca. Clearly mention where you work (school, day-care, home day-care, private practice, hospital, etc.), so we can send you the catalogue best suited to your needs. If sending an email, please remember to provide your full mailing address.

How do I go about ordering online if I am not an educator or other education professional with an institutional account?

Discover our selection of products on the Parents & families Web site. Our new online store is open to all.

Now you can shop online, visit our boutique located at 700 Beaumont Avenue in Montreal (H3N 1V5) and place an order by phone at 514 273-9186 or 1 800 361-0378 where you will be able to pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard).

Institutions & Professionals

Is it possible to have a single profile with one account number for all users from an institution (school, school board, etc.) in order to see their prices and/or order on the website?

No. For reasons related to security, your data protection (product watch lists, passwords, etc.) and confidentiality. There can only be a single user per profile. However, there is no limit to the number of profiles per institutional account.

Is it possible to de-activate purchase order sending because we wouldn’t want schools to order through the website?

No. It isn’t up to the website to manage that type of exception. If a school board wishes their orders on our website to be blocked, they must send a request to that effect to Customer Service. Our IT system enables us to identify profiles or accounts with restrictions and intercept orders. A user who would send an order without proper authorization would be contacted by Customer Service to inform them of the situation, of their account’s conditions and further steps to be taken.

How can I open an account with BB Education?

You can contact our Order Department by phone at 514 273-9186 or 1 800 361-0378 or by email at deptcredit@bb.ca. Please specify if you are a teacher, educator or other teaching specialist, so that we may better serve you.

How may I place an order on your Web site?

To place an order, you must first open a profile with an email address. You will also be asked to create a password. Later, you will enter your school’s or business’ customer account number and postal code. You can check out our tutorial for more information.

If your institution already has an account with us, you should be able to obtain this account number through your Secretariat or Administration. You can also call our Order Department at 514-273-9186 or 1-800-668-1108, or send an email to service@bb.ca. Please be prepared to provide your institution’s exact name.

What is the difference between the sections "School", "Early Years", etc.? Can I make purchases from every section?

These sections were created to facilitate your search by providing a list of products that are grouped together to serve a specific customer base. However, you are free to navigate the entire site for any product. If you have an account with BB Education, you can make a purchase from any section.
