Return of Goods
Products sold by BB Education’s are new and guaranteed to be without defect. However, we cannot guarantee that product descriptions, product images or any other content found in this website are accurate, complete or error free.
If at reception a product is found to be damaged or does not correspond to what was ordered, BB Education undertakes to exchange or refund it, including delivery charges, provided the product is returned in the original packaging along with the delivery notice, a copy of the invoice and within prescribed deadline* of the delivery date.
A customer who wishes to return a product for another reason may choose between an exchange, a credit note or a refund. The exchange must take place within the time period provided set out above. For the return of non-defective items, products must be returned in the original packaging along with the delivery notice and a copy of the invoice. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 15% to 50% depending on the stock conditions.
Customers must contact the BB Education Customer Service team at 514 273-9186 or 1 800 668-1108 prior to returning any merchandise. If product is eligible for refund, the Customer Service team will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number. To be accepted, all returns must have an authorization number.
* Prescribed deadline vary according to the type of customer:
Institutions & Professionals: 90 days.
Parents & Families: 30 days.
Return and exchange policy - Eureka
Products may be returned to BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER within 10 days of receipt of the order, with authorization from customer service. Returns must be accompanied by the original order number and invoice. All returns must be made in person at or shipped to BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER Inc., 700 Beaumont Avenue, Montreal, QC H3N 1V5, together with the original order number and invoice. Depending on the condition of the returned item(s), a restocking charge of 15% to 50% of the price of the item(s) may apply.
If you are returning a product for any reason other than product defects, you must assume the cost and risks for the returned product. A product cannot be returned if it has been covered or damaged, or if you have written your name or your child’s name on it.
If an item is defective, it will be replaced with a new copy of the same item. If BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER did not deliver the goods as ordered, it will send the right products and assume the transport cost and risks. Please contact customer service to correct this error. (The term “defective” includes missing or incorrect product components.)
Upon receipt of the returned goods, any amount charged to your credit card account for the BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER products, except the shipping charges, will be credited as soon as possible, on the following condition: The products must be returned under your identity and received by BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER in perfect resale condition.
Defective products upon delivery: Products shipped via Canada Post should be checked on delivery to make sure they have not been damaged in transit. If a product has been damaged in transit, you must make a claim to Canada Post within 48 hours, giving your identification number.
Defective products during use: With the exception of flutes and mouthpieces, which ARE NOT REFUNDABLE NOR EXCHANGEABLE, product manufacturers offer warranties of varying duration. In order for BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER to replace or repair a product under warranty, you must return it to BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER together with the invoice and order number. BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER will check the replacement products carefully prior to shipment to make sure it is not damaged or defective.
RETURN POLICIES FOR ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS AND ACCESSORIES
NO EXCHANGE OR REFUND WILL BE MADE ON ELECTRONIC PRODUCTS (CALCULATORS) AND ACCESSORIES, EXCEPT FOR DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS.
Defective electronic products or accessories must be returned before September 5 of the same year, and will be replaced by a functioning copy of the same product. BRAULT & BOUTHILLIER will send the right products and assume the transportation costs and risks, provided you have contacted customer service and agreed on the carrier to be used to return the product to us.
