ULIO 3D Brix is a buildable 3D printer made out of plastic bricks.

Young budding geniuses will experiment an out-of-the-ordinary digital fabrication project that will spark their creativity, develop their digital fabrication skills, cultivate their problem-solving skills, and spark their interest in one day becoming tech creators. This user-friendly kit contains all the parts needed to print and assemble one (1) ULIO 3D STEAM printer. Important Notice: This project requires access to an existing 3D printer capable of printing at least 20 x 16.5 x 20 cm (8" x 6.3" x 8"). Adult supervision and assistance are required. “Wally and the Great Storm” is a fun and engaging learning package where young people learn the basics of programming through activities that take place in both the digital and physical worlds. Through an animated narrative thread, participants follow Wally on his quest along the coast of the North. They help him solve challenges by programming a Micro:bit nano-computer to communicate with their friends in Morse code. They will also learn about the environment and the history of telecommunications. An interactive educational journey for young people aged 7 and up, enhanced by history, geography and biodiversity. Welcome to the world of programming and automation with Micro:Bit! In comparison to the Arduino platform, Micro:Bit offers a much more graphic way of working and programming with microcontrollers. The Bit Board Adapter was designed as a solution for teaching programming via Micro:Bit's graphic interface, allowing it to work with Crazy Circuits™ component platform. These modular kits are robust sets of materials supported by online lesson plans, projects, activities, diagrams, and videos. Note: kits do NOT include individual Micro:Bit board.

To inspire and engage, lesson plans focus on teaching students the basics of programming while also having them modify more complicated code in order to learn how different parts interact. Go to bb.ca for all the components in the set. Each student box is a complete set of supplies intended for one group of students (we recommend groups of no more than 3 students, especially when working with a computer.) The only additional tools needed are scissors and a computer to manipulate code.

The mess-free tape is used on walls or windows, cardboard or fabric, or even applied to LEGO® bricks for use with Crazy Circuits. Overlapping pieces creates a solid electrical connection and taping down a component, a simple connection. Resistance of 1 ohm per 30 cm. No special tools needed.
