Ocazou was created by a mother with her young pre-teens in mind. Like many parents, she watches over the well-being of her children, is attentive to process of their development and accompanies them. Some time ago, her eldest daughter surprises her with a sanitary napkin in hand and asks her what it was. She wasn't ready to have this discussion with her and thought that her daughter was not either. But to deep down, she knew she didn't want to pass on the fear of this period of the month. By creating the Ocazou kit, she wants to benefit the mothers for whom it is difficult to broach the subject with their children and to single fathers who are facing to a new situation and do not know where to start with a modern and popularizing tool. Ocazou is an educational kit specially designed to enable young girls to experience their first periods under a light positive. In this guide, essential topics such as puberty, menstruation, the phases of the menstrual cycle, as well as the importance of personal hygiene are addressed. The ensemble also encourages the adoption of behaviors conducive to the mental and physical health of young girls, to that they can flourish fully. For ages 9 and up.
