Cyanotype process

For use on any natural fiber/porous surface, including cotton, linen, silk, canvas, wood, paper and leather. Set includes two 8oz / 256.59ml bottles (1 each of the following): •Part A: Potassium Ferricyanide (0.8oz / 22.68g — A red iron salt used with Ferric Ammonium Citrate for cyanotype. •Part B: Ferric Ammonium Citrate (1.9oz / 53.86) — A light-sensitive iron salt used with Potassium Ferricyanide for cyanotype. This set contains enough chemistry to make approximately sixty-five 8" x 10" prints on paper or fifty 8" x 10" prints on fabric.

Cyanotype pretreated fabric sheets make producing Prussian blue monochromatic prints easier than ever before. Simply place the object or film negative on top of fabric and expose to sunlight or UV. After exposure, prints should be processed in a tray of cool water and allowed to air dry. Cyanotype is an antique photographic process developed in the mid-19th century for reproducing photographs. Includes 10 sheets (8.5 x 11 in).
