Developed by Brault & Bouthillier, Aquatint ink is a very deep black ink easily diluted with water to produce reserve processes. Offers an excellent hiding power and can also be used pure.

Indian ink or India ink is mainly used to write Chinese characters, drawing and painting. It can be applied on paper and cardboard using a nib, a reed pen, (a piece of reed sharpened and shaped to resemble a nib) or a brush. The ink is used for lines and fill, but can also be diluted with water to create washes depending on the desired effect.
